Anderson Cooper Uses Trumps Own Words To Show How Weak The President Is
Sponsored by FreePLRArticles.biz
=>
After Donald Trump on Thursday hurled insults at MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, CNNs Anderson Cooper read some quotes about the office of the president.
The president of the United States is the most powerful person in the world. The president is the spokesman for democracy and liberty. Isnt it time we brought back the pomp and circumstance and the sense of awe for that office that we all held? Cooper quoted.
The writer went on to say, That means everyone in the administration should look and act professionally, especially the president. Cooper read. The writer concludes, Impressions matter.
The book he was quoting: Trumps 2015 campaign tome,Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again.
Cooper then warned against normalizing Trumps attacks.
Its not normal, Cooper said. This is the most powerful man on the face of the entire planet. A man struggling to fulfill promises hes made on health care reform and a whole host of other issues lashing out personally at a cable news anchor, making snide comments and allegations about her appearance.
Cooper said that adults apologize for stupid things, but Trump instead sends his spokespeople out to do just the opposite.
He was referring to Sarah Huckabee Sanders defense of Trumps attacks,in which she said the president is tough and fights fire with fire.
Donald Trump is many things, but tough is not one of them, Cooper said, adding:
Tough is fighting for the health care reforms that he actually campaigned on. Tough is rising above insults and actually leading, What our president does is not a display of toughness. Its a display of weakness of character, of thinness of skin.
Cooper also called out the people around Trump for allowing this behavior, including his wife, Melania Trump, who once vowed to make cyberbullying her central issue as first lady.
Check out his full takedown in the clip above.

San Francisco to pay $190G to undocumented immigrant over sanctuary law violation, lawyer says
Sponsored by our friends from Met001.biz

A man from El Salvador in the U.S. illegally who sued San Francisco after police turned him over to immigration authorities in violation of the city's sanctuary law is set to be awarded $190,000, his attorney said Thursday.
Pedro Figueroa-Zarceno, 33, reached the settlement agreement with the city attorney's office, said Saira Hussain, a staff attorney at the Asian Law Caucus who represented Zarceno. The agreement must be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
Its really important for San Francisco to remain a sanctuary city not in name only but also in practice, Hussain told The San Francisco Examiner. Our hope is that the department is going to look into this further and really examine the way that the department can do more."
Figueroa-Zarceno sued San Francisco in January for violating its sanctuary city law.
The construction worker said he went to police in December 2015 after getting a call from authorities that his stolen car had been found. Instead of helping him, he said, officers detained him and called immigration authorities.
He was taken into custody by federal authorities outside the police station and was in jail for two months. He has been fighting his deportation since his release.
"What happened to me was very unfair and it was an injustice," Figueroa-Zerceno said. "I went into the police station to seek help and they didn't tell me what was happening and they arrested me and treated me badly."
City law prohibits law enforcement officers from cooperating with federal immigration officials except when violent criminals are involved.
Part of the law's purpose was to encourage immigrants to report crimes they may be afraid of disclosing because of fear that investigating officers would turn them over to immigration authorities.
San Francisco's sanctuary law was thrust into the national debate on immigration after the July 2015 slaying of 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle.
The man charged with murder in Steinle's slaying, Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, had been released by San Francisco sheriff's officials months earlier despite a request by immigration officials to keep him behind bars.
House Republicans took action Thursday to crack down on illegal immigrants and the cities that shelter them.
One bill passed by the House would deny federal grants to sanctuary cities and another, Kates Law, would increase the penalties for deported aliens who try to return to the United States.

Your Health Care Information Is Insecure — And Extremely Lucrative On The Black Market
Sponsored by our friends from Met001.biz

This week, amalware attackstruck Ukrainian computer systems and quickly spread to tens of thousands of machines across dozens of countries, including the U.K. and the United States. The proliferating computer virus, called Petya, raises the question as is often the case when data hacks, breaches and disruptions occur of just how safe an end users personal information is when its on a network.
Not very.
Its unclear whether the Ukrainian attackers were motivated by money or mayhem. But money is certainly the motive when it comes to what likely impacts individuals far more than a malware virus: the theft of your personal health records.
TrendMicro, an information security company, has reported that the health care sectoris now the preferred target for cybercriminals. The industry, with hospitals leading the way, has been the top target of data breaches, followed by government and retail. In 2015, a total of 113.2 million health care-related records were stolen, the most ever, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Ed Cabrera, chief cybersecurity officer for TrendMicro and former chief information security officer for the U.S. Secret Service, told HuffPost that medical records are targeted by cybercriminals because they contain the most comprehensive data and provide multiple selling opportunities for the so-called dark web.
An electronic health record database contains personal information that does not expire such as Social Security numbers and can be used over and over for malicious intent, Cabrera said.
The cybercriminal underground can cherry-pick the various parts of protected health information records, which include medical histories, test results, health issues past and present, prescription drug use, treatments, methods of payment, home addresses, credit card numbers, health insurance information, Social Security number and birthdate. The data can get right down to the date of your last menstrual cycle.
Thieves can use stolen electronic health records to get prescription drugs, receive medical care and file fake insurance claims. They can exploit Social Security numbers to file fraudulent tax returns, open credit accounts, and obtain official government-issued documents, such as passports and drivers licenses. They can even create new identities.
The stolen information is usually resold, either as a whole record or piecemeal, on popular dark web marketplaces, including TheRealDeal, AlphaBay, Valhalla, Apple Market, Python Market, Dream Market and Silk Road, according to the TrendMicro report.
Interested cyberbuyers may only want health insurance numbers, which sell for 99-cents each on the underground, says the TrendMicro report. Those who trade in drugs may be interested in your prescription for opioids. Having your email in combination with other proof of identity can enable a thief to have the delivery address changed for mail-order pharmaceuticals or packages ordered online. Those who engage in cyberespionage for a nation-state may pay mightily for sensitive health information about a political or corporate leader. Like any other free market, rates are based on supply and demand, Cabrera said.
Medical records also have a long shelf life.If a thief steals your credit card or bank account number, its useful only until the credit limit is maxed out or you report the loss and the account is closed. But some information in a medical record can provide steady long-term income for scammers, Cabrera said.
Credit card companies and banks have vastly improved their ability to protect your data, Cabrera said. Health information systems? Not so much, which makes them a better target, he said, adding that some improvements have been made.
The Ponemon Institute,a security research and consulting organization, said in its May 2016 annual study on health care data privacy and security that about half of all health care organizations had little or no confidence that they could detect the loss or theft of patient data, and that the majority lack the budget to secure their data. The study found that most health care organizations havent invested in security technologies or staff.
While cyberattacks on the health care industry may pose immediate health risks to patients, with consequences like hospitals closing and procedures needing to be rescheduled, the big concern must include data breaches, Cabrera said.
And realistically, theres little you can do about it. Patients are at the mercy of the organizations they interact with, Cabrera said. If your doctor or hospital wants your drivers license or Social Security number as a condition of treatment, youre probably going to turn them over.
Cabrera suggested people use their real-life experience in their virtual life online. If you were traveling in a dangerous location, you would take precautions. Apply that same caution to your interactions with the health care industry. And be careful out there.

Venus Williams at fault in deadly Florida car crash, police say
Sponsored by our friends from Met001.biz
=>
Tennis star Venus Williams caused a car crash earlier this month that led to the death of a passenger in another vehicle, according to a police report released Thursday.
Palm Beach Gardens police say witnesses told investigators that Williams ran a red light in her 2010 Toyota Sequoia SUV, causing a June 9 crash that injured 78-year-old Jerome Barson, who died two weeks later.
The report says a 2016 Hyundai Accent driven by Barson's wife, Linda, crashed into the side of Williams' SUV. Linda Barson told investigators that she was approaching the intersection when her light turned green and that she was unable to stop in time. Linda Barson suffered unspecified moderate injuries. Williams, who turned 37 on June 17, was not hurt.
She told investigators she had entered the six-lane intersection on a green light but had been forced to stop midpoint by traffic ahead of her. She said she did not see the Barsons' car when she crossed into their lanes.
Palm Beach Gardens Maj. Paul Rogers says the crash remains under investigation. Williams, who has a residence in Palm Beach Gardens, has not been cited or charged. The report says she was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Williams' attorney Malcolm Cunningham said in a statement that Williams expressed "her deepest condolences to the family who lost a loved one."
Michael Steinger, the attorney for Linda Barson, had no immediate comment.
Venus Williams, the older sister of tennis star Serena Williams, has won seven Grand Slam titles, including five at her favorite tournament, Wimbledon.
She revealed in 2011 that she'd been diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome, an autoimmune disease.
Her ranking fell outside the top 100 as she coped with her illness and injuries, and from 2011 to 2014, she only advanced past the third round at a major once.
Early round losses continued to mount for Williams and questions about retirement came up time and again. Those questions are still asked, but she had a career renaissance, and in January reached the finals of the Australian Open, where she lost to her sister.
The crash was first reported by TMZ.
