In a well-deserved twist, a guy just looking to argue was turned into this week's most contentious memes.
Steven Crowder, a conservative podcaster and professional troll set up a booth at Texas Christian University with a sign that said "Male privilege is a myth." The sign prompted students discuss whether or not he was right with "Change my mind," an ongoing segment he has on YouTube.
Hello @TCU. Come one come all. #ChangeMyMind pic.twitter.com/r4U4WaFFtm

His tweet got a considerable amount of criticism — people pointed out that his booth wasn't really an effort to engage in discussion and that he just wanted to incite anger for his YouTube channel.
The fact that you expect people to walk up to you and hand you an explanation because you asked for it instead of going online and researching it yourself is a pretty perfect example of male privilege.

Crowder's speech certainly sparked a reaction.. Twitter user @shoe0nhead tweeted a picture of Crowder's booth, but with a blank sign above "Change my mind."
"What does crowder want you to change his mind about?" they asked.

And if there's anything people should learn from President Trump's executive order debacle last year, it's that the internet loves to turn blank pieces of paper and signs into memes.
Which is exactly what happened to Crowder's sign. People began reposting the photo of Crowder's booth, and added their most controversial opinions.
Twitter user @realbuntyking tweeted, "Rabbits make for some absolutely shit household pets," which prompted angry rabbit owners to respond with photos of their beloved bunnies.

And @sugiofunk is sure to incite some arguments with their "Hentai is Art" take.

"Pop Tarts Are Ravioli" was such a schismatic opinion, it got to the top of Reddit's FrontPage.

Then @DiegoLMMartinez posted this hot take, claiming that Jenny from Forrest Gump was a terrible person. It's an opinion so universally held that even Crowder himself retweeted it.
“Worthy of its own video,” he agreed.

@CSN_Prodigy tossed their hat into the ring with the opening lines to the Bee Movie script, which has kind of become the new Rick Rolling in recent yeas.

When the president of Iceland said that if he could, he'd ban pineapple on pizza, Twitter was outraged. Tim Owens brought back one of 2017's most intense debates with this sign: "Pineapple goes on pizza."

Here's some advice: Don't pose with a sign and then post it online. It never works out in your favor.
As for Crowder, he's probably just happy to have some attention.
