Want A “Dad Bod” Without Getting Fat? Well The Dadbag Is Here To Answer Your Prayers

Fanny packs are a vacation necessity. When you travel abroad, there’s a few must-have documents and items that you need to keep on your person at all times – such as your passport – and fanny packs are pretty much impossible to lose or have stolen.

However, many people end up losing their valuables or falling prey to crafty pickpockets because they don’t want to make the fashion faux pas of wearing a fanny pack. It’s easy to understand. As far as bags go, fanny packs are the least fashionable of the bunch. But fanny packs have just taken on a new guise that would prevent wearers from being mugged too, How? Well, they now come in the form of hairy belly and are aptly called “Dadbags”, and, let’s face it, no one would want to steal a hairy beer belly… …Unless you encounter a cannibal with a weird fetish of course, and the chances of that happening are pretty slim. Brainchild of London-based art director Albert Pukies, the Dadbags are currently one-of-a-kind, however, now that they’ve gone viral on social media, they are likely to enter mass production and could soon be hitting a high street near you… Pukies said to Mashable that manufacturers have already been reaching out to him about the Dadbag, and those who have already purchased them have been so happy with the product that he’s considering a Kickstarter campaign. If the Dadbag goes into production, Pukies has came up with six designs for people to chose from: Unlike traditional fanny packs, the Dadbag doesn’t even look like a bag, and, as I’ve mentioned, that makes it impossible steal from. What’s more is that it’s a decent size, so you’ll be able to store everything you could possibly need inside it! Like a can of beer… But it’s not just security that the Dadbag is great for. It gives its wearer an instant “dad bod” without them having to go to the inconvenience of putting on the weight, which could come in handy if your Tinder match says they’ve got a thing for them… When asked why he made the Dadbag, Pukies said, “I made the DadBag because I’m desperate to have a dad bod, but I’m also very concerned about the health risks associated with it. The solution is quite simple, a bumbag with a proper dad belly printed on it. Now I can put on a dad bod whenever I feel like it and even store my valuables in it.” Admittedly, the Dadbag has the potential to attract a lot of funny looks, but you’d be the biggest legend at the summer BBQ if you, quite literally, opened up your beer belly and pulled out a few cans to share with everyone else. If you want to keep up with the Dadbag’s progress as it develops, it now has its own Instagram page which currently has over 3,000 followers, all of whom are desperate to know when the Dadbag will be available for purchase. Don’t fret if you’ve already got a dad bod either, the Dadbag can motivate you to lose weight and put your beer belly to better use.
