Stage 4
The timed section was 416 km. Title defender Toby Price wanted to catch up on Honda driver Joan Barreda. That was supposed to work, but he crashed after about 370 km and broke his thigh. The entire Honda team got a severe punishment from the race management. All got a penalty of 60 minutes. Stage 5

Stage 6 Cancelled
786 km were planned, of which 527 timed kilometers. Because of the weather had to be renounced. To the starting point of the next section you had to drive nevertheless. It was not so easy to get out of the bivouac as it was completely flooded. The muddy ground caused much trouble.
Anyone who managed to get it out could relax on the drive to the next section, on asphalted roads. This resulted in two days off, since on Sunday was not driven. On Monday, it goes on.
