Sometimes Photoshop is used for good. Sometimes it’s used for evil. And a lot of the time—like with this funny Netflix fail—it’s just not quite used right.
Reddit user moofthespoof noticed the goof, pointing out the anatomy problem with Netflix’s cover photo for its campy horror flick The Babysitter.
“Is it me, or does ‘The Babysitter’ have two right hands?” moofthespoof wrote.
Indeed, the person in the photo appears to hold a bloody knife in their right hand—and a sandwich in their other right hand. Not convinced? Another Reddit user, 2tall4yoo, went through the trouble of recreating the photo using a knife and a piece of bread.
You can fact check the mistake yourself by holding an object (preferably not a knife) with your left hand behind your back. The placement of the thumbs in The Babysitter photo gives away the double right-handed mistake.
It appears Netflix has since replaced the cover photo for The Babysitter, which is too bad. We’ll take funny, innocent Photoshop fails over problematic ones any day.
